SEATS SELLING FAST FOR JULY 29 HASKELL INVITATIONAL

With the connections of Belmont Stakes winner Union Rags and Kentucky Derby and Preakness runner-up Bodemeister indicating a start in the July 29 Haskell Invitational could be next for their star colts, seats for Monmouth Park’s signature event are selling fast.

Clubhouse and Grandstand reserved seats range in price from $10 to $17. A handful of box seats remain for purchase and are priced at $12.


Admission on Haskell Day, which is not included in the reserved seat price, is $5 for the Grandstand and $10 for the Clubhouse.

“The response for seats this year has outpaced any in recent memory,” said Bill Knauf, vice president of business operations for the racetrack. “Everyone wants the best seat possible to watch the nation’s top 3-year-olds in training contest New Jersey’s most anticipated horse race.”

Haskell tickets can be purchased by calling 732-571-5563, or visiting the reserved seat booth (2nd floor of the Grandstand) on any live racing day. In addition, fans can pre-purchase Haskell seats (admission price included) on http://www.ticketmaster.com.
