Turfway cancels Thursday card

FLORENCE, KY . . . January 29, 2009 . . . With road conditions preventing horses stabled off-site from safely shipping in for the day’s races, Turfway Park has canceled live racing for Thursday, January 29, 2009.

The track remains open for simulcasting. Gates open at 11:15 a.m.


Live racing is expected to resume Friday, with first post at 5:30 p.m.

Thursday’s cancellation is the fourth of the current meet, which began January 1.
