TUTTA BELLA AMONG EIGHT ENTERED IN PACIFIC HEIGHTS

ALBANY -- Tutta Bella, who earlier this year captured the $150,000 Fran's Valentine Stakes at Hollywood Park, is among the eight California-bred fillies and mares entered in Saturday's $75,000 Pacific Heights Stakes at Golden Gate Fields.

The Pacific Heights will be run at 1 1/16-miles on the synthetic Tapeta racing surface. Tutta Bella will break from post position two and be ridden by Julio Garcia.

Tutta Bella is a 5-year-old mare trained by John Sadler, the leading conditioner at the current Hollywood Park meeting. Tutta Bella has won four of her 15 career starts and sports $279,144 in earnings.

Tutta Bella recorded her biggest victory on April 27 when she led from start to finish in the Fran's Valentine, a 1 1/16-mile turf contest. Digging in gamely down the stretch, Tutta Bella hung on to win the Fran's Valentine by a neck over Comedy Girl.

The Pacific Heights field, in post position order, is as follows: Bartok's Bling, Roberto Gonzalez will ride at 123 pounds; Tutta Bella, Garcia, 123; Star Voyager, Leslie Mawing, 123; Shes a Lucky Wager, Luis Martinez, 121; You Lift Me Up, Russell Baze, 121; Spenditallbaby, Kyle Kaenel, 123; Lady Railrider, Frank Alvarado, 121; and Film Editor, William Antongeorgi III, 123.

Fans attending Golden Gate Fields Saturday will receive a free GGF long sleeve shirt. Post time is 12:45 p.m.
