MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. Trained by Dave Fawkes, Vitameta was unveiled to a seven-length victory on July 1 in a five-furlong dash where the daughter of Street Sense led at every call, toying with her rivals before drawing clear in mid-stretch. The filly was subsequently shipped to Saratoga for her next start, the Grade 2 Adirondack Stakes, where she was forwardly-placed through the early stages of the race while chasing eventual winner Kauai Katie before stopping rather abruptly and galloping home the last of five.
