AMERICAN PHAROAH BREEZES HALF-MILE IN :48 FOR BELMONT STAKES
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Tuesday, May 26, 2015) – Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (GI) and Preakness Stakes (GI) winner American Pharoah took his preparation for the June 6 Belmont Stakes (GI) to the next level breezing a half-mile in :48 over a fast track Tuesday morning at Churchill Downs. Martin Garcia was in the irons for the 8:30 a.m. exercise as American Pharoah galloped out five furlongs in 1:00.40 and three-quarters of a mile in 1:13.20 after early 1/8-mile splits of 12.20, 24 and :35.80.

Barn Notes: American Pharoah Gallops at Churchill Downs
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Friday, May 22, 2015) – Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (GI) winner American Pharoah had his first gallop since his seven-length romp in last Saturday’s Preakness Stakes (GI) in preparation for the final leg of the Triple Crown, the $1.5 million Belmont Stakes (GI) on June 6. The homebred son of Pioneerof the Nile galloped 1 3/16 miles over the Churchill Downs main track Friday at 8:30 a.m. following the renovation break with exercise rider Jorge Alvarez up.

American Pharoah Returns to Track; Jogged at Churchill Downs
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Thursday, May 21, 2015) - Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (Grade I) and Preakness (GI) winner American Pharoah (7-6-0-0-$3,730,300) returned to the track Thursday for the first time since Saturday's seven-length romp in the slop at Pimlico Race Course. The 3-year-old flew from Baltimore to Louisville on Monday to begin preparations for the 147th running of the $1.5 million Belmont Stakes (Grade I) on Saturday, June 6 from his classic's base at Churchill Downs Barn 33.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Saturday, May 9, 2015) – Danzig Moon, the fifth-place finisher in last Saturday’s Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (GI), will continue on the Triple Crown trail.
“We are going,” said Norman Casse, assistant to his father, trainer Mark Casse. “He came out of the Derby really well and deserves one more chance.”

AMERICAN PHAROAH, FIRING LINE, DORTMUND RESUME GALLOPING
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Friday, May 8, 2015) – Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (GI) winner American Pharoah galloped a mile and three-sixteenths after the morning renovation break at Churchill Downs.
Also galloping after the break were the 2-3 finishers from the Derby, Firing Line and Dortmund.

Brands (Grade I) - America's greatest race which has been run every year without interruption since 1875.
