Gulfstream: $400,000 Sunshine Millions Classic Quotes
Trainer Kathy Ritvo (Mucho Macho Man): “It was good to have him back. We put him in because he was ready to run. It was fun.
“It’s nice to win at home. We have total confidence in Gary (Stevens), so the whole race was fun. I was very comfortable today.

Gulfstream: $150,000 Sunshine Millions Sprint Quotes
Jason Servis, trainer (Ribo Bobo): “I stay out of his way, he does the rest. We went back in for him in a six-way shake. I guess you could say it was meant to be. My opinion is that when he got to four, five, six wins in a row—I was picking my spots with him, going to Penn National, I think he finally said, ‘Oh, I’ve really got this now.’”
Gulfstream: $150,000 Sunshine Millions Turf Quotes
Trainer Eddie Kenneally (Star Channel): “Big day so far. We’re done. Nervous? Yeah, that was close. There was not much between the photo, and the fact that there was a lot of contact, plenty of contact when I saw it on the head-on. I wasn’t sure what way it was going to go. I don’t know who was causing the bumping but it looked like it was going to go 50-50, and thankfully it came our way.
Gulfstream: $150,000 Sunshine Millions Filly & Mare Sprint
Trainer Eddie Kenneally (Ullapool): “We expected a big effort. She’s good right now. We really thought she’d run a big race. We were happy with the way she came into the race.”
Gulfstream: Sunshine Millions Filly & Mare Turf Quotes
Trainer Rodolfo Garcia (Parranda): “It was excellent. He (Jose Lezcano) did everything right. She finished great. As of late, she wants to be closer. She used to [come from] way off the pace. She likes to be on the outside. He (Lezcano) waited until he could go to the outside, and from there I knew she was going to close like she did. We got an A-effort ride, and a perfect win.
“We’re going to consider our options. We have a couple of races here at Gulfstream and we’ll consider them. We’ll give her four or five week’s rest before we go into the next one.”
Gulfstream: $300,000 Sunshine Millions Quotes
Trainer Todd Pletcher (Sweet N Discreet): “It unfolded sort-of how we thought it would. We were able to get into a good, comfortable spot and pop outside and get into a nice rhythm down the backside. She was traveling really well. It looked like he went into the far turn with a lot of horse and decided to blow the race open right there, and he was able to do it.”
