$100,000 Kitten’s Joy Quotes
Trainer Todd Pletcher (Charming Kitten): “We got a little better trip (than last time). We were a little concerned. Even though there were several horses in the race that run sort of near the front, they weren’t necessarily fast-paced horses. We wanted to get a good stalking position and sit behind comfortable fractions.

Trainer Kathy Ritvo (Mucho Macho Man): “I can’t find anything wrong with him. I think he didn’t like the track.”
$400,000 Florida Sunshine Million Classic Quotes
Trainer Bill Mott (Ron the Greek): “He’s run good on an off track before, however, he didn’t run good on a sticky track in the Jockey Club (sixth). It was strange. He ran well today. He liked this. He didn’t mind it.
$150,000 Florida Sunshine Millions Turf Quotes
Trainer Michelle Nevin (Teaks North):“I’m overwhelmed. It’s been a tough week, but I’m very happy for this horse. It’s been a long road back (layoff). When they get older they usually need a race to shake the cobwebs off and he did (10th in El Prado on Dec. 22).”
$150,000 Florida Sunshine Millions Sprint Quotes
Trainer Shivananda Parbhoo (Off the Jak): "He's getting better and better. He's a nice horse. He's more relaxed every time he comes out. Coming to the race today the groom actually had to pull him to come over. But when he goes to the gate he's a totally different horse. He likes fast tracks. We train out of Calder. Some horses fit the track. He just loves a fast track. He has no issues and hopefully we'll find another spot for him. He had a very good trip. I told (jockey Jose) Alvarez, 'Just don't go on the rail.' Those were the only instructions I gave to him."
$150,000 Florida Sunshine Millions Filly & Mare Turf Quotes
Trainer Michelle Nihei (Regalo Mia): “There was never any question that we had a good filly since she came to us as a 2-year-old. Her only bad race in the Mrs. Revere at Churchill...it just wasn’t her day. It was at night in the freezing cold, raining and the ground was slippery on top. Other than that she has run her race every time. We do have to allow for her size (small) in her training, but she more than makes up for it. I’ve always thought she would like a distance and a three-turn race is the obvious next step.”
$150,000 Florida Sunshine Millions Filly And Mares Sprint Quotes
Trainer Marty Wolfson (Golden Mystery): “She’s retiring and will be sold (Feb. 11 at Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Mixed Sale). Speak Easy Gal (Distaff entrant), too.
“I thought coming off that mile (Dec. 30), I knew she’d have the stamina. When they were going head and head, I knew she’d finish strong. I didn’t know she’d win off by six, but I knew she’d finish strong. And that race (second) to Dust and Diamonds (Dec. 8) was a good race.”
