Millers and trotter form ‘Perfect Alliance’

Perfect Alliance and driver Andy Miller have formed a perfect partnership so far this year.

A 4-year-old female trotter, Perfect Alliance is 2-for-2 this season as she heads into Thursday’s scheduled first leg of the Charles Singer Memorial Series at the Meadowlands. She is the 7-5 favorite in the second of two opening-round divisions. Time To Quit, who won the Super Bowl Series and is unbeaten in three races this year, is the 4-5 choice in the first division.

N.Y.’s Rick Arbiter and Arthur Nigro earn WHHC berths

COLUMBUS, OH (Feb. 10, 2014) – Rick Arbiter of Kingston, N.Y. and Arthur Nigro from Tuckahoe, N.Y. won the weekend’s two USTA World Harness Handicapping Championship Free, Online Qualifiers to earn berths ($8,000 value) to the $60,000 World Harness Handicapping Championship (WHHC) at the Meadowlands on Saturday, April 19, 2014.

Top drivers ready to open Miami Valley Raceway

Miami Valley Raceway opens Friday night in southwest Ohio and there will be no shortage of talent on the racetrack during the opening weekend.

Among the drivers expected to compete are the three most recent national dash champions: Ronnie Wrenn Jr., Dave Palone and Dan Noble. Wrenn led North America in wins in 2013 with 714 while Palone led in 2012 with 675 and Noble was tops in 2011 with 773.
