10-Cent Rainbow 6 Hit For $327,110.71

The Lead: It truly was a Happy Holiday for the Thoroughbred racing fan Sunday who hit Gulfstream's 10-Cent Rainbow 6.

The fan who had the only unique winning ticket with the last six winners on the 10-race program received $327,110.71. The winning numbers were 5-5-11-5-7-8. The ticket was purchased in California.

Gulfstream's unique 10-cent wager has climbed to as high as $5.1 million.

Who's Hot: Jockey Elvis Trujillo had two winners Sunday, including Rico Suave in the sixth. The Angel Quiroz-trained 2-year-old lit up the tote board with a $84.80 mutuel. Trujillo also won aboard Market Savvy ($5.40) in the third.

Edgard Zayas, who brought home the last race winner Royal Love ($13), also rode Bristol Dancer ($7.40) to victory in the seventh.

Meanwhile, the stable of Kenneth and Sarah Ramsey won their 12th race of the meet Sunday when Burn the Mortgage won the ninth race feature over Starlight Racing's Heavy Breathing.

Upcoming Schedule: Gulfstream will be dark Monday and Tuesday and will reopen Wednesday with its usual 12:45 p.m. post time.
