The Dubai Racing Club is pleased to annouce Al Nasr Leisureland will be sponsoring the seventh meeting of the 2008-09 Winter Racing Challenge at Nad Al Sheba on Thursday.

Dubai Racing Club CEO Mr Frank Gabriel Jr said: “All Nasr Leisureland has been a long standing supporter and partner of Dubai Racing Club and we are pleased that they join us again on Thursday for what promises to be another exciting evening of racing, as the Winter Racing Challenge builds towards its climax”.

Mr Abdul Kader Yousef, Executive General Manager of Al Nasr Leisureland added: "Al Nasr Leisureland continues its long association with the Dubai Racing Club by supporting the Winter Racing Challenge at Nad Al Sheba Racecourse on Thursday evening 18th December 2008.

The Winter Racing Challenge runs through until January 1st, 2008 with horses earning points depending on their finishing position in dedicated challenge races run at Nad Al Sheba Racecourse; bidding for their chance to compete for AED150,000 prizemoney in the Winter Racing Challenge finals.

There is also a total of AED125,375 up for grabs to the lucky race fans who can correctly guess the winners in the ever popular Pick 6 competition, this Thursday at the second meeting of the Winter Racing Challenge.

Thursday’s Al Nasr Leisureland-sponsored card is set to begin at 7pm and there are a number of hospitality options available to suit all tastes and budgets in both the Millennium Grandstand and the Maktoum Grandstand.

Entrance to the public area of the racecourse is free of charge and there are also complimentary transfers to and from Nad Al Sheba from Dubai Marina (by Spinneys), Arabian Ranches (Shopping complex), Wafi (in front of Pyramids) and Emirates Towers (Boulevard entrance by Cartier).

Buses will leave at 6.00pm from these locations, and return departures will be at 10pm from the racecourse.

And off the track, the DRC will be staging many social events to look out for, including Boxing Day at the Races on December 26, and the three BurJuman Fillies & Fashion events.
