ALBANY -- Jockey Frank Alvarado delivered for the "chalk players" Sunday at Golden Gate Fields when he guided the favorite to victory in back-to-back races.

Alvarado won the sixth race with Isabelqa ($5.80), the 9-to-5 choice in a field of six 3-year-old fillies. Trained by Jeff Bonde, Isabelqa took the one-mile event by three lengths over Come On Mama.

Alvarado completed his riding double with a victory in the seventh race aboard Lightnin' Up ($3.00), who handicappers hammered down to 1-to-2 odds. The Jerry Hollendorfer-trained Lightnin' Up defeated Hearts Ablazin by two lengths in the 1 1/16-miles race for 2-year-old maidens.

Bonde saddled two winners Sunday as he also captured the ninth race with Truckees Rose ($10.00). Inoel Beato rode Truckees Rose.

Golden Gate Fields will continue to race through the holidays with an eight-race program on Monday. Post time is 12:45 p.m.
