The stakes-caliber race is the first contest on an eight-race program that begins at 12:45 p.m. Joining Antares World and Halo Dolly in the one-mile test for fillies and mares are Bleach Blonde, Two Thirds Victory and Rico’s Posse.
While Halo Dolly has been idle since the Jan. 28 Valentine Dancer, Antares World returned to win an allowance race at Golden Gate Fields on Feb. 10. Antares World came from just off the pace to win 1 1/16-mile race on Tapeta by three lengths.
Halo Dolly, who has won eight of her 15 career starts and $283,700, is the 6-to-5 morning line favorite in Friday’s feature. Antares World, who has eight victories from 23 starts and $408,318 in earnings, is the 7-to-5 second choice.
Bleach Blonde is 5-to-1 and Two Thirds Victory and Rico’s Posse are both 12-to-1.
