BALTIMORE, 02-24-09---The Maryland Jockey Club today announced that Baltimore-based Charm City Devils will round out the lineup for the Preakness InfieldFEST concert on Saturday, May 16 in the Pimlico Race Course public Infield prior to the running of the $1 million Preakness® Stakes (Grade I).

On February 5 Pimlico officials unveiled Preakness InfieldFEST, which will feature a concert with three rock performances, including Rock and Roll Hall of Famers ZZ Top and Grammy-nominated Buckcherry, along with a pro volleyball tournament and an interactive section.

Founded by former SR-71 drummer John Allen, Charm City Devils (http://www.charmcitydevils.com/) became the first band signed by Eleven Seven Music president Nikki Sixx, of Mötley Crüe fame. The band will release its first album, Let’s Rock and Roll, for the label on May 19. The album has garnered immediate respect prior to the release with the title track as well as “True Love” and “Burn Baby Burn,” playing in rotation by 98 Rock (WIYY FM 97.9). Charm City Devils was voted top Maryland rock band in 2008 by SĒN magazine.
