Erwan Charpy saddles four runners, with Tadhg O’Shea electing to ride Spring City and Richard Hills on Sheikh Hamdan’s Morghim.
Watson said: “All five have some kind of chance and we must be hopeful in an open race.”
Dhruba Selvaratnam saddles Dig Gold in that race but he looks to hold stronger chances on the remainder of the card with For Once in a 1400m handicap and Mofarij in a 1400m conditions race both looking hard to beat for the ‘home’ trainer.
Alo Pura and Meeriss also hold great chances for the local trainer, whose brother Adi, may take the 1200m handicap with Sama Dubai.
