ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 11, 2008)—Santa Anita Park has announced that with the exception of opening day, Dec. 26, fans will be offered free general admission on all Friday programs throughout Santa Anita’s upcoming 84-day winter/spring meeting.

“We want our fans to know that we intend to offer them outstanding value across the board, and particularly on Fridays,” said Santa Anita President Ron Charles.

“This is the most comprehensively competitive pricing schedule we’ve ever embarked upon. And we believe this is going to be very popular with our fans and provide them with a fun way to begin their weekend,” he added.

In addition to general admission, outstanding box seating is also going to be available free of charge on Fridays, on a first come, first served basis. Fans will also be treated to a one dollar menu, which includes beers, sodas, hot dogs and popcorn.

First post time on opening day is at 12 noon. Admission gates will open at 10 a.m. Santa Anita’s 72nd winter/spring meeting is schedule to run through April 19. For additional information, fans are encouraged to visit Santa Anita’s website at http://www.santaanita.com.
