LEXINGTON, KY (May 1, 2012) – Keeneland sales graduates, led by Grade 1 stakes winner and morning-line favorite Grace Hall, are among the fillies entered today for Friday’s $1 million Kentucky Oaks (G1).
Grace Hall – the 2011 Spinaway (G1) winner and 6½-length winner of the recent Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2) was purchased by trainer Anthony Dutrow for $95,000 at the 2010 September Sale from Bluewater Sales, agent.
Believe You Can – the Fair Grounds Oaks (G2) winner was offered for sale by Brereton Jones/Airdrie Stud, agent, at the 2010 September Sale.
Jemima’s Pearl – third in the Fantasy (G2), the Distorted Humor filly was consigned to the 2010 September Sale by Lane’s End, agent, and purchased for $100,000 by David Redvers Bloodstock.
Colonial Empress - sold for $175,000 to owner Bluegrass Hall as part of the complete dispersal of the Estate of Edward P. Evans’ Spring Hill Farm (Lane’s End, agent) at the 2011 November Sale.
Amie’s Dini – second in the Fantasy (G2), the Bandini filly was consigned to the 2010 September Sale by Paramount Sales, agent, and sold for $3,000 to co-owner Mike Walker.
Oaks Lily – listed as an also-eligible for the Oaks, the Badge of Silver filly was offered for sale by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent, at the 2010 September Sale.
