ALBANY -- A victory aboard Reality Now in the $33,000 allowance feature completed a riding hat trick for jockey Frank Alvarado at Golden Gate Fields Sunday.

Alvarado won the fourth race with Pisa Playboy ($12.80) and the sixth with Bunny At the Lake ($8.80) before squeaking out a victory in the eighth with Reality Now ($4.40).

Reality Now, trained by Jerry Hollendorfer, took the lead from stablemate Devils Afleet approaching the sixteenth pole and then out-kicked the strong-finishing Autism Awareness to win by a neck.

Reality Now clocked a good time of 1:09.67 while recording his sixth victory in 12 career starts. A 6-year-old gelding owned in partnership by Hollendorfer and George Todaro, Reality Now earned $25,750.

Alvarado has ridden 22 winners through 22 days of racing at the 2008-2009 winter/spring meeting and ranks second in the jockey standings behind Russell Baze, who has 34 victories.

Racing resumes at Golden Gate Fields Thursday. Post time is 12:45 p.m.
