INGLEWOOD, Calif. (October 9, 2010)—Multiple graded stakes winner Forever Together and Hibaayeb, who won the Yellow Ribbon in her U.S. debut on Oct. 2, were among nine late nominations for Hollywood Park’s upcoming Turf Festival.

A fixture at the annual Autumn meet, the Turf Festival will be run over three days (Nov. 26-28) and include five graded stakes worth a combined $950,000.

Besides Forever Together, who was second behind Tuscan Evening in the Gamely Stakes in her last appearance at Hollywood Park on May 29, and Hibaayeb, the other late nominations – at a cost of $2,000 - to the $250,000 Matriarch are Fantasia and Gypsy’s Warning, who was third in the Yellow Ribbon. A Grade I at one mile, the Matriarch will launch the Turf Festival on Friday, Nov. 26.

Zifzaf, a 4-year-old son of War Chant, is the lone late nomination to the $250,000 Citation, a Grade II at 1 1/16 miles. It will be run on Saturday, Nov. 27.

Like the Matriarch, there were four late noms – Bushwacked, Citrus Kid, Fantastic Pick and Teaks North - to the $250,000 Hollywood Derby, a Grade I for 3-year-olds at 1 ¼ miles. The Derby climaxes the Festival on Sunday, Nov. 28.
