Keeneland Sale Graduates Zenyatta, Forever Together and Stardom Bound Win Breeders’ Cup World Championships

Lexington, KY (October 24, 2008) – Keeneland sale graduates Zenyatta, Forever Together and Stardom Bound captured three of the five Breeders’ Cup World Championship races held on Friday at Santa Anita.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerome S. Moss’ undefeated Zenyatta, a graduate of Keeneland’s 2005 September Yearling Sale, won the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Ladies’ Classic (G1).

Forever Together, who prepped for the Breeders’ Cup by winning Keeneland’s First Lady (G1) on opening day of the fall meeting, was sold as a weanling in the November Breeding Stock Sale and as a yearling in September. She won the $2 million Emirates Airlines Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf (G1).

Keeneland sale alumni Stardom Bound, Dream Empress and Sky Diva ran 1-2-3, respectively, in the $2 million Bessemer Trust Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1). Dream Empress won Keeneland’s Darley Alcibiades (G1) earlier this month.
