Alsadeek and Haatheq were the equine Jebel Ali stars at the final UAE meeting of the year and both are likely to be seen at the 2011 Dubai International Racing Carnival which starts in just under two weeks.

Haatheq, owned by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum whose Shadwell Farm sponsored the 1800m prep race for the Jebel Ali Stakes, will be back for that 1950m Listed feature in a fortnight.

Trained by Ali Rashid Al Raihe, he was ridden by Richard Hills who said: "He has done it nicely and will be a nice horse for the Carnival but we have to come back here first for the Jebel Ali Stakes after such a good performance and on a track we know he loves."‪‪

The Doug Watson-trained Alsadeek, however, is off to Meydan at the end of January for a turf race.

He won the concluding 1200m conditions race under Pat Dobbs to the delight of Watson who said: "That is a relief as we have kept him for this race after his win six weeks ago. We think he is best with a gap between races so will wait for the Meydan turf race in four weeks."‪‪

Apprentice Harry Bentley has enjoyed a great season and was in double form, winning the 1600m handicap on Kala Kanta for his boss Satish Seemar.

Earlier, he had won the opening 1400m conditions race, the only Purebred Arabian race on the card, on the Gill Duffield-trained MH Al Wadi.‪‪

Carlos Sanchez was another jockey in double form and partnered the Abdulla bin Huzaim-trained duo Al Marmoom and Step In Line winning handicaps over 1400m and 1600m respectively.
