NYRA Now, a half-hour Sirius Radio show dedicated exclusively to Thoroughbred racing at the New York Racing Association’s Aqueduct Racetrack, Belmont Park and Saratoga Race Course, will debut Saturday, March 7 from 12:30 p.m. – 1 p.m. Eastern.

Hosted by Dave Johnson and Bill Finley, NYRA Now will air on Sirius Channel 122 and XM Channel 143 and will be available to 20 million Sirius XM subscribers. It will offer handicapping, interviews with owners, trainers and jockeys and feature segments.

There will also be a number of live races aired during the afternoon, beginning with New York’s final major prep for the Kentucky Derby, the Grade 1, $750,000 Wood Memorial for three-year-olds at nine furlongs on Saturday, April 4.

The show is preceded by Down the Stretch, also hosted by Johnson and Finley, which airs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Additionally, there is a schedule for 11, one-hour afternoon shows featuring NYRA stakes races. These races are as follows and are subject to change:

June 6: Belmont Stakes preview show that airs prior to ESPN radio’s coverage of the Belmont Stakes, the longest and oldest leg of the Triple Crown

August 15: Sword Dancer
