Join us this Saturday as we open the gates for our 2012 live racing season.

First post for the nine-race program is 12:45 p.m.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet NBC's voice of the Triple Crown Larry Collmus, who will return to our announcer's booth to call some races. Collmus served as track announcer from 1992-2008. Larry will be at the first floor area between the Grandstand and Clubhouse from 1-2 p.m.

There will be a special appearance by WZLX's popular morning show host Kevin Karlson and the street team from WZLX from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Also during that time, the WZLX Street Team will be on hand giving away prizes on the Grandstand apron. The 98.5 The Sports Hub street team will be on the scene from 2-4 p.m.

Additionally, there will be Family Fun activities taking place near the playground. A silent auction featuring racing and Boston sports memorabilia will be taking place on the first floor of the Grandstand. All proceeds will benefit our Thoroughbred retirement efforts.
