“We will announce the headline music acts and other entertainment later this month,” said Maryland Jockey Club President Tom Chuckas. “We are looking to build on the momentum we experienced a year ago.”
In addition to the main stage headliners, the 2011 Preakness InfieldFEST will feature live music on a second stage as well as other entertainment for the day-long experience highlighted by the famed Preakness® Stakes, the middle jewel of thoroughbred racing’s Triple Crown.
The largest single day sporting event in the state of Maryland, Preakness day attendance figures have topped six-figures in eight of the last 10 years, including a record 121,263 in 2007.
