Rhone took home his first win of the day with Payyourtax, a five-year-old son of Artax owned by Barbara Rehbein and Cindy Rhone and piloted by Luis Antonio Gonzalez. Rhone returned to the Winner’s Circle with Onotheregoestokyo, a six-year-old Storm Creek gelding owned by Bill Lethert and Tom Metzen and ridden by Dean Butler.
Centeno haltered his third win aboard Frank C. Calabrese’s Snowboard Ridge. The three-year-old Snow Ridge colt was bred in Florida by Manuel Andrade and is trained by Rick Slomkowski,
The Lambholm South Race of the week was captured by Make My Day, a four-year-old Florida-bred Gulf Storm gelding owned by Linda Murphy, trained by Edward Wallace and ridden to victory by Huber Villa-Gomez.
Finish Lines… Tomorrow, January 25 is the first Family Fiesta Day of Tampa Bay Downs’s 83rd race meeting. Located in the Tampa Bay Downs Backyard, Family Fiesta Day is fun for the whole family hosted by Univision Television. The afternoon features free Latin-themed entertainment and personalities, pony rides, games and more from noon until 3 PM.
