ALBANY -- Run It ran to another victory at Golden Gate Fields Sunday.

Run It, who broke his maiden against winners on Nov. 6 at Golden Gate Fields, proved the victory was no fluke when he scored a two-length victory in Sunday's $19,300 feature for 2-year-olds.

A Kentucky-bred colt by Cherokee Run, Run It completed a mile on the synthetic Tapeta surface in 1:39.03 and paid $6.80. Scorpio Dog took second by three lengths over 3-to-2 favorite Skim Scam.

Run It is trained by Dennis Patterson and owned by Mercedes Stables LLC. Kyle Kaenel rode Run It, who has two wins and two seconds in five career starts.

Run It's victory completed a riding double for Kaenel, who also won the second race with Tusko T. ($16.40).

Jockey Frank Alvarado and trainer Frank Lucarelli also won two races Sunday.

Alvarado took the fifth race aboard Galinda ($3.80) and the eighth with Sidepocket Cat ($6.00). Lucarelli sent out Tusko T. to his victory in the second race and also captured the ninth race with Premier Diablo ($10.00).

Racing resumes at Golden Gate Fields Wednesday. Post time is 12:45 p.m.
