Sponsored by Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, the 2200m feature has attracted a maximum field of 14 and looks wide open.

Last year's winner Nirwan is back for Doug Watson with Richard Hills in the saddle. Hills said: "We know conditions suit him and he is in great form at home. These races are never easy to win but he should not be far away."‬‬‪‪

Erwan Charpy's Remarkable Man is another Group One course and distance winner, while Lahib appears the first string of Eric Lemartinel based on jockey bookings.

Gerald Avranche rides that one, with Ted Durcan on Shadiyda.‬‬‪‪ The Group Three Al Ruwais, over 1000m, features the return to action of last year's Dubai Kahayla Classic winner Fryvolous with trainer Rod Simpson explaining: "We have been patient with him this year but he should run a good race."

Watson Quaolina appears the main danger.‬‬‪‪

Invest A D sponsor the Emirates Breeders' Cup, over 1600m, which looks very competitive but Jinad, who has enjoyed a prolific season, may be hard to beat.‬‬‪‪

Racing concludes with the one Thoroughbred race on the card, a 1200m conditions race and Dhruba Selvaratnam's Mofarij looks a likely winner. ‬‬‪‪
