CLINTON POTTS (Ten Churros) -- "Have I ever ridden a winner on my birthday before (he turned 37 today)? I'm sure I have. I've been doing this (riding horses) for 19 years, so I'm sure there have been a few along the way. This is the first day I've ever ridden a horse for (trainer) Bob Baffert though (he also rode a mount for him in today's 2nd race, Express Rail, who finished third). And here I am winning a stakes for him. They put the blinkers on her today to get her to relax. You can do that with them sometimes and that was the plan today and it worked. She was very responsive and when it was time off that fast pace she came running. It worked out great."
ISAIAS ENRIQUEZ (Tammy's Luck) -- " She's just a little thing but she's got a big heart. Her heart is about bigger than she is. She came running real nice. She'll like going longer, too."
TYLER BAZE (Trash Master) -- "I sat in that pocket and had a good trip when they lined up in front. When I got out she tried, but it just wasn't enough today. She ran a good race. No real complaints."
BOB BAFFERT (Ten Churros) -- "Well, I got my stakes for the meet. Now I can go home. When Hal [Earnhardt] bought this filly, I was real careful with her. I wasn't sure how hard I should train her, but she's been coming along really well. She's been working well and training, and I decided to put Clinton (Potts) back on her. I told him if we're going to rate her, maybe this is the day. When he came off the turn, I was feeling pretty good."
