Live racing will run Wednesday through Sunday each week as well as on three Mondays: January 19, February 16, and March 16. Other Mondays and all Tuesdays are dark.
The highlight of the winter meet is the 38th running of the $500,000 Lane’s End Stakes (G2) on March 21. A mile and an eighth for three-year-olds, the Lane’s End Stakes is a major prep for the Kentucky Derby and is annually run six weeks before the first Saturday in May.
The Lane’s End undercard features the $150,000 Bourbonette Oaks (G3) for three-year-old fillies, a one-mile prep for the Kentucky Oaks. Also on the undercard are the $100,000 Rushaway, 1 1/16 miles for three-year-olds; the $50,000 Hansel, a six furlong sprint also for three-year-olds; and the $50,000 Queen, six furlongs for older fillies and mares.
At $175 per seat, the party in the Maker’s Mark VIP Tent is again the top ticket on Lane’s End day. Other reserved seating from $25 to $80 is available throughout the grandstand. General admission is $10 on Lane’s End day. Tickets are on sale now.
