ARCADIA, CA, October 24 - While several 25th Breeders' Cup World Championships horses have some Canadian content, many of them haven't been near north of the 49th parallel.

Other Championship contenders, while having little Canadian content, have stepped hoof in the country, competing at Woodbine in preparation for Friday's and Saturday's races.

The following is a list of Breeders' Cup horses that have competed at Woodbine in their careers:

FILLY AND MARE SPRINT (1)
Ventura was second to Rahy's Attorney in the Woodbine Mile on September 7, 2008.

JUVENILE FILLIES TURF (2)
C Karma is based at Woodbine, five starts total (two wins). She won the Natalma Stakes on September 14, 2008 last time out.

Laragh had three starts at Woodbine, including a fifth-place finish to C Karma in the Natalma Stakes on September 14, 2008 and a maiden victory on August 9, 2008.

JUVENILE FILLIES (1)
Van Lear Rose is based at Woodbine, five starts in total (two wins, both stakes). She won the Mazarine Stakes on October 5, 2008 last time out.

FILLY AND MARE TURF (3)
Folk Opera won the E.P. Taylor Stakes on October 4, 2008.

Forever Together was third to Jray in the Canadian Stakes on September 7, 2008.

Sealy Hill is based at Woodbine, 12 starts in total (six wins). She is Canada's reigning Horse of the Year after sweeping Canada's Triple Tiara of Racing in 2007. She was third to Folk Opera in the E.P. Taylor Stakes on October 4, 2008 last time out.
