Frolic’s Revenge Holds on in Thrilling Calder Oaks

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (April 28, 2012) – Stride Rite Racing Stable, Inc.’s Frolic’s Revenge turned back a menacing late challenge from Maxxam Alliance LLC, JRR & PRR Group LLC, and Fawkes Racing, Inc.’s Glamour N Glory to win the 21st running of the $100,000 Calder Oaks by a nose, covering the 1 1/16-mile distance in 1:43.78 over a firm turf course at Calder Casino & Race Course.

“It got close in the end,” winning jockey Chris Landeros said following the race. “I’m just glad I got there first.”
