KING GHIDORAH TO REPRESENT PARBHOO IN GIANT RYAN
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (July 29, 2012) – Owner Shivananda Parbhoo confirmed through the Calder racing office on Sunday that he intends to enter King Ghidorah in the $55,000 Giant Ryan when entries for that stake are taken Monday. The Giant Ryan is named after the Parbhoo-owned Grade 1 winner that was euthanized as a result of injuries incurred during the running of the True North Handicap at Belmont Park on June 9.
“Calder was nice enough to run a race named after Giant Ryan, so I want to participate in the race,” Parbhoo said.
