MOREY FAMILY ENJOYS WINNING DAY AT GGF

ALBANY -- The Morey family enjoyed a big Friday afternoon at Golden Gate Fields as veteran trainer William J. Morey, Jr. saddled one winner and his son, trainer William E. Morey, sent out a pair of winners.

William J. Morey took the first race on the eight-race card with Grantmartyamiracle ($5.20). The 8-to-5 second choice in the betting, Grantmartyamiracle captured the
5 1/2-furlong race for 3-year-old fillies by 1 1/4 lengths under jockey Russell Baze.
