SALAMERA SHIPS TO SARATOGA FOR SATURDAY’S ADIRONDACK

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (August 5, 2012) – Tanourin Stable’s juvenile filly Salamera, unbeaten in two starts and winner of the $100,000 J J’s Dream Stakes on June 30, left the Calder Casino & Race Course stable area Saturday night bound for Saratoga and an expected spot in the starting gate for Saturday’s Grade 2 Adirondack.

The Rodolfo Garcia-trained filly began her career with a 4 ¼-length maiden-breaking triumph over the Calder dirt on May 26. The filly then returned to take the J J’s Dream by a neck after a rousing stretch duel with the highly-touted Impossible Mary.
