MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (August 10, 2012) – With victories on the Thursday card by Wholelotaroyalty and Joltin’ Joe, and four straight wins dating back to Foxy Affair’s 7 ¼-length maiden triumph on August 4, there isn’t a trainer on the Calder Casino & Race Course grounds enjoying more success at the moment than Alfred McIntosh.

“The hard work is paying off,” McIntosh said when reached by phone Friday afternoon. “You go through some struggles in this game, but top-down the entire barn has been working hard and this is what the results are. Even the filly (Avaday) that ran third (prior to the start of the four-race streak) did well. She didn’t win, but the way she ran, she didn’t disappoint us either.”
