Bettor wins whopping $153,884 Turbo-charged Pick 6

TORONTO, June 30 - Woodbine Entertainment Group’s new Turbo-charged Pick 6 has proven to be a big hit with racing fans across the continent, including the most recent winner.

Sunday’s lone winning Pick 6 bet was made in California. The ticket (1,2,3,5,6,8/1,2,3,4/1,4,5,9/4,5,11/10/2), which cost $576, resulted in a payoff of $153,884.

The Turbo-charged Pick 6, which started on Sunday, June 21, Queen's Plate Day, runs once a week on Sundays. There was $150,000 added to the June 21st Pick 6 carryover with a guaranteed minimum carryover for the following Sundays of $150,000.

A bet in which horseplayers are asked to select the winners of six consecutive races, the Turbo-charged Pick 6 is offered only on Sundays. If the Pick 6 jackpot is won, WEG will re-seed the pool with another $150,000 the following week.
