The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

Best PLAY of the DAY:

#9 Scuttlebuzz (5-2) drops to his lowest level and cuts back to the distance where he was a good, closing neck off in 1:08.3 on July 11. The pace scenario should be a touch above the average which will suit him. A substantial change of jockey to Rosario should close the deal.

Best VALUE Play of the DAY:

#3 City Man (9-2) has been fourth or better in his young career and being consistent means a lot. The son of Mucho Macho Man has displayed his best Beyers in his last two races. He should be sitting right beyond the speed and pounce in mid-stretch.  Good value with Franco on the morning line.
