GOING GULFSTREAM – NOV 25

The Black Friday program at Gulfstream Park is an extremely competitive sprint going 5-1/2 furlongs on Tapeta Track. The pity is I’m probably going to fall into another trap.

There’s so much speed signed on here that there must be a meltdown and a tactical stalker with some late pop or confirmed closer. Check the PPs for yourself. What do you think?

Don’t you think that wide-posted stalker with kick, Saffie Joseph Jr’s Unsociable is in the perfect spot here?

Yes, some might class up a bit better on past performances, but no one can deny that he’s improving. One doesn’t compile a lifetime slate of (7) 4-2-0 unless a horse continues to improve, which he has.

We like the idea of his coming in fresh and has been working on a weekly schedule for nearly two months, that he takes a confident rise in class, and that he switches to strong finishing Leonel Reyes.

And, again, in terms of spacing, pert-owner Joseph is showing a lifetime profit given a sample of nearly 700 starters. And check out his last, a game win here on SEP 16, Race 6.

Betting Unsociable to win with no price restrictions and boxing an exacta with a classy California ship-in, Detroit City, whose trainer Jack Sisterson is a profitable 17% efficient with runners going from turf to AW.
