The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

By Marc Lawrence, — The Action Network notes that sportsbooks love parlays because they are so profitable. They also love correct score bets because they are so profitable. So you can imagine how sportsbooks think about correct score parlays.

Sunday didn’t exactly work out that way for FanDuel, who had three bettors parlay the correct score of the AFC and NFC title games.

One bettor took a $20 site credit and bet and took a 28,950-to-1 flyer on the Bengals to beat the Chiefs 27-24, and the Rams to beat the 49ers by a score of 20-17. When that happened, the bettor won $579,000.
