The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

By Marc Lawrence, — Atlanta Braves All-Star hurler Max Fried is 6-1 away with a 2.52 ERA and a 0.79 WHIP this season, as well as 6-1 with a 2.64 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP in his last seven-team starts.

His opponent, Philadelphia’s Ranger Suarez is 3-5 at home with a 5.15 ERA and a 1.64 WHIP as opposed to 7-1 away with a 3.23 ERA and a 1.25 WHIP this campaign.

With the Braves an eye-popping 18-1 in games behind Fried when coming off a loss since last season – including 8-0 this year – you know what to do.
