Week 6 Observations Our friend Dan Wolken from the USA TODAY notes that the PAC-12 averted disaster as they were looking at a worst-case scenario before Oregon rallied to defeat California. Had the Bears won it would have put the nail in the conference’s coffin for a chance of landing a playoff berth. While its still slim at best, the Ducks remain alive.
