The Tennessee Titans’ run of overachieving under Mike Vrabel came to a screeching halt in 2022 when they lost their final seven games.
Statistically, they were out-yarded in 14 of the 17 contests they played last season. This is from a team that went 11-7 ITS (In The Stats) the previous year.
While expectations are low, provided they stay healthy, the Tennessee Triplets – Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry, and DeAndre Hopkins – could help the Titans make some noise in one of the weakest divisions in the league this season. However, the Nashville Cats were the first team since the 2005 49ers to finish in the bottom three in both passing offense and defense last year.
Remember, a record-tying 25 teams ended with a winning percentage over .400 last season, and the two-time defending AFC South champion Titans were not one of them. You can count on lots of motivation from Vrabel’s bunch in 2023.
