By Marc Lawrence — From the 2019 Playbook College Bowl Stat Report: To say that Ohio State will play Clemson with a chip on its shoulder would be an understatement. Aside from looking to avenge a 33-0 beat down laid on them by Clemson in the 2017 College Football Playoff, the Buckeyes feel to a man they should not have had their No. 1 seed pulled out from underneath them by the committee. They are not only 15-2 ATS as a dog dating back to 2009, but also 7-0 SUATS when taking points over the past eight seasons, proving our point that they don’t take to being relegated to an underdog role. And to top it off, QB Justin Fields owns an insane 40-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio with the Buckeyes. Those aren’t chips on their shoulders. They’re boulders. |

Piling on the Tom Brady bandwagon bash, ESPN reported that the GOAT posted a 36.7 Total QBR in Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs. That marks Brady’s 4th straight game with a QBR under 40, his longest streak since QBR first became available in 2006. |
