By Top Turf Teddy — The “Worst Stinkin’ Bet of the Day” will be in the 7th Race at Aqueduct, where they will be running a mile on the dirt. 2-Tiz Morning received my top isolated number last out on 11 November with a bad post, and once again gets the top isolated number here.
Back on the main track after 5 attempts on grass, one of which was in the Grade 1 Sword Dancer (you can’t blame them for trying), where he was up against it.
Allow me to digress; if there are any rookie handicappers out there (a rare breed), would caution you against believing one man’s opinion (this includes me) relative to the comments and/or the morning line.
It has been my experience in many cases, if you watch the replay, the comment misrepresents what really happened, and many of these morning lines are laughable; don’t let this information steer you away from a play you might want to make based upon valid empirical handicapping information.
Four-year old against younger, although lesser factor this time of year (tiz November); gets a strong rider, a real “Heman,” better post, turf to dirt, and most importantly, dropping where he belongs. It is with great confidence, pleasure and anticipation, that I nominate…..
