The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

JOIN THE VOLUNTEERS

By Marc Lawrence — From this week’s PLAYBOOK Football Newsletter: In last season’s winless effort (albeit only 5 games due to COVID), the Bowling Green Falcons ranked No. 126 in Red Zone Offense and No. 125 in Red Zone Defense, as well as No. 127 (last) in Turnover Margin Per Game. Sheesh. That’s four consecutive seasons finishing 126, 128, 109 and 116 in Red Zone Offense.

We don’t see much changing this season, not with a team that fell 20 spots in their latest recruiting rank by 247 Sports.

Going to Tennessee at 2-14 ATS as a double-digit dog, including 0-9 ATS on the road, look for Vols new head coach Josh Heupel to improve on his 6-1 ATS career mark as a non-conference favorite tonight.
