LAUREL CARD CANCELLED

Edited Press Release — Laurel Park has cancelled its 10-race program Thursday due to a broken water pipe along the apron.

Because the pipe is located near the outer rail of the main track, management has decided to call off today’s races.

Laurel remains optimistic it will resume its live program Friday afternoon, with six of the 10 races are scheduled on Laurel’s world-class turf course.

The ninth race on the program, a $55,000 allowance event at 1 1/16 miles on the turf, includes stakes winners O Dionysus, Gunnison, Clash and Cash, Abiding Star, John Jones and Golden Brown.
