When horseplayers look at the video for Saturday’s 8th race at Tampa Bay, a maiden allowances for females 3YO and Up, it will be very difficult to ignore the trip of Gaelic Tales (5-2) at TAMPA BAY DOWNS, RACE 7, DEC 2.
Never really comfortable racing between horses much of the way, her task would be very difficulty, especially trying to launch while very wide between horses on the final turn and still had life in the lane. And her race two back was fastest of the group recently on the Thoro-Graph scale.
Unfortunately for the Michael Stidham trainee, Chad Brown is shipping in with Red Light Racer (3-2) who earned an excellent figure on debut when a very game second at Keeneland after leaving the gate slowly and racing wide at midstretch, showing solid late foot in the process.
Working with purpose in South Florida subsequently, the natural second-out is there, as is Brown who is 29% in that role and is 27% with this spacing and with Antonio Gallardo in the boot. Despite their high profile, this team owns a positive ROI…but this one won’t make your rich.
Taking Red Light Racer to win, no price restrictions, and an exacta box with the unlucky Gaelic Tales.
