CHARLES TOWN: NO RACING

By Charles Town Staff — Due to ongoing health and safety concerns surrounding the outbreak of COVID-19, Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races will be indefinitely suspending its live racing programs until further notice.

The announcement comes on the heels of West Virginia Governor Jim Justice’s Monday press conference where he issued a statewide “stay at home” order that has the impact of shutting down non-essential businesses as of 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday evening.

The track will remain open in the mornings for horsemen on the grounds to continue with light training.
