The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

MONEY MONEY MONEY …

By Marc Lawrence, PlaybookSports.com — The SEC and Big Ten unsurprisingly dominate USA Today’s ranking of the top 25 college athletic programs by total revenue in 2022 (public schools only).

1. Ohio State ($252M)

2. Texas ($239M)

3. Alabama ($214M)

4. Michigan ($211M)

5. Georgia ($203M)

6. LSU ($199M)

7. Texas A&M ($193M)

8. Florida ($190M)

9. Penn State ($181M)

10. Oklahoma ($177M)

Incredibly, 22 programs topped $150 million in total revenue during the 2022-23 academic year. As recently as seven years ago, only one program did the same.
