The Conscience of Thoroughbred Racing

By Marc Lawrence — When Zach Plesac and the Indians take on the Spencer Howard and the Rangers at Progressive Field in Cleveland this evening they will do so knowing Plesac has been spotless in his seven career starts against AL West opponents.

Adding salt to the wound, Howard is 1-6 with a 7.57 ERA in his last seven team-starts.

The fact that Howard has yet to last more than 4 innings in any of his 10 starts this season, and more than 5 innings in any of his 17 MLB career starts, puts us on the Tribe.
