| One of the more startling stats to come across our desk this baseball season occurs today when Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Jordan Lyles takes the hill at Wrigley Field this afternoon with a 0-15 career team-start mark during the month of July. Making matters worse for Lyles is the fact that his counterpart, Cubs hurler Jon Lester, in 7-1 in his last eight overall team-starts against the Bucs, including 4-0 the last four. As the saying goes, “It ain’t broke and we’re not about to fix it.” |
